Do Capillary and Vein treatments hurt?Most clients describe the sensation to be like the snap of a rubber band on the skin as the pulses of energy hit the skin. In some cases, clients may opt to have a numbing cream applied before their treatments. After the treatment however, pain from the treatment is minimal to nonexistent.
What Results Can I Expect?Laser Vein treatment works by breaking up veins so that they can be dissolved and absorbed by the face. This does not happen immediately. Veins usually dissolve over the course of several weeks. If clients take all the necessary precautions following their treatments, a vein-disorder can be treated for long term results.
Who is a good candidate for vein treatments?Prior to treatment, your candidacy is assessed by one of our Specialists. Laser Vein treatments work on those individuals who suffer from small surface blue, red, and purple broken capillaries. Vascular treatments are safe for all skin types, however this procedure is not recommended for raised veins.
Are these treatments safe?Yes. Laser and Intense Pulse Light (IPL) systems have been used safely for millions of treatments worldwide. These systems treat only the targeted vessels, leaving the surrounding tissue intact. However, some redness may occur temporarily after the treatment.
